Halo Chat is your brand-aware AI assistant. Unlike generic chatbots, Halo Chat understands your brand deeply and provides guidance that aligns with your brand identity.
Navigate to Halo Chat from the sidebar, or go directly to /halo-chat.
Conversation titles
Each chat thread has a title you see under Halo Chat in the header and in your history.
- Regular messages: After you send your first message, the title is set from the first line of that message (lightly cleaned and kept short so it fits the header). If the full title is long, the header may show an abbreviated version—hover the title to see the full text in a tooltip.
- Start Project: When you use Start Project, the thread is first named Start project. After you pick a project type, the title updates to [Tool name] project (for example, “Blog Writer project”) so project threads are easy to spot in history. If you send a normal chat message before choosing a type, the title updates from that message instead.

How to Use Halo Chat
Type your question or request in the chat input. Halo Chat automatically has context from your Brand Strategy (also called Brand Intelligence).
Continue the conversation naturally. Halo Chat remembers context within the session.
Use Start Project to launch a guided handoff to a Halo Studio tool, Analyze Webpage to ingest a URL as chat context, Upload Files & Media for local files, or Insert from Asset Library to attach saved assets by reference.
Use a public http:// or https:// page URL. Internal/private hosts (like localhost or private network addresses), login-only pages, and non-page downloads may fail extraction or return limited context.
Detailed answers can take up to about two minutes to finish streaming. Keep the tab open until the reply completes.
Each assistant reply includes a compact context summary showing mode (Full/Light/None), which brand sections were applied, Brand Knowledge usage, and whether visual identity context was included.
Halo Chat can stop for different reasons: insufficient credits, monthly plan cap reached, or temporary rate limit. The error card explains what happened and what to do next. For credits/caps, open /settings/billing.
Example Prompts
Here are some effective ways to use Halo Chat:
- "Help me write a tagline for our new product launch"
- "Analyze this webpage and compare its messaging to our brand voice: https://example.com"
- "How should our brand respond to customer complaints on social media?"
- "Generate 5 blog topic ideas that align with our brand values"
- "What tone should we use for this email to enterprise clients?"
- "Review this copy and suggest improvements to match our brand voice"
Be specific about context. Instead of "write me an email," try "write a follow-up email to a potential client who attended our webinar last week."
