Halo Chat introduces powerful ways to interact with AI-generated content through Artifacts and Generative UI. These features make chat more interactive and help you accomplish tasks faster.
These features are automatically available in Halo Chat. Navigate to Halo Chat from the sidebar, or go directly to /halo-chat.
What Are Artifacts?
Artifacts are interactive, embeddable components that appear directly in chat messages. Instead of just text responses, Halo Chat can now show rich previews and interactive elements.

Using Artifacts
When Halo Chat suggests a tool or generates content, artifacts appear automatically:
Artifacts appear as rich cards within chat messages, showing previews of the content or tool.
Click buttons to copy content, save to Asset Library, launch tools, or export files directly from the artifact.
After using an artifact, continue chatting to refine, adjust, or generate variations.
What Is Generative UI?
Generative UI creates dynamic, context-aware forms directly in chat. Instead of navigating to tools, Halo Chat can generate custom forms based on your conversation.
Forms adapt based on your conversation, brand context, and intent
Text, textarea, select, multi-select, number, date, checkbox, radio, file upload, and code
Forms pre-fill with relevant information from your brand and conversation
Real-time validation with helpful error messages
Using Generative UI Forms
When Halo Chat detects you need to fill out a form, it generates one automatically:
Halo Chat generates a form based on your request. For example, asking "Create a blog post" generates a blog writer form.
Complete the form. Many fields are pre-filled with relevant information from your brand and conversation context.
Submit the form to generate content directly in chat, or launch the full tool with your inputs pre-filled.
Tool-Specific UI Generators
Halo Chat includes specialized form generators for popular tools:
- Blog Writer: Topic, length, tone, keywords, target audience
- Social Captions: Platform, message, hashtags, emoji level, CTA
- Color Palette: Style, mood, number of colors, brand alignment
- Campaign Builder: Goals, timeline, channels, budget, target audience
Generative UI forms learn from your conversation. The more context you provide, the better the form will be pre-filled. You can always edit any field before submitting.
